January 2, 1998 Grizzly bears are neither threatened or endangered.
They have been declared to be threatened in the lower 48 states by fiat. This does not make it true. The public should have no concern about the grizzly bear disappearing from the face of the earth because they are not reintroduced into the Selway Bitterroot Frank Church Wilderness
In fact, the grizzly bear is being exploited to establish a system called Y2Y by the federal agencies that have been captured by environmental groups such as Friends of the Bitterroot, Earth Share, Sierra Club, Earth First, Earth Justice to name a few of the hundreds of such groups. You should see what they have planned for you.
Maps, courtesy of AVICOM showing that, in fact, grizzly bears are neither endangered or threatened on the North American continent were removed from the internet on 2/8/99. You may wish to inquire from AVICOM if the maps are still available and how to access them.
Sorry the map is no longer available as it was quite useful in establishing that grizzly bears are neither threatened or endangered on the North American continent.
